Having seen the product from both sides, we know how important stability and performance is to all of you. So this is going to be our primary focus over the next year. To enable us to do this, there are some sacrifices to be made - however don't be alarmed!
 
We will remove premium entirely - and over time, give you back your features - FOR FREE! Many of the old premium features will be available as you progress in the ranks, in other words, instead of paying for them, you will just have to earn them ;-) The rank project will come secondary to stabilisation however we will do this as soon as we possibly can.
 
We also want to get back to the feeling we had many years ago. We want to get the focus back to Chatting and having fun. In the "old days" before premium, we knew that when Captain told us we had a new message, it really was for us. We want to personalise your chat experience once more and therefore we will remove both multi ShipMails and multi LogBook messages. You will still be able to send ShipMails in blocks of 5, however LogBook messages will have to be sent individually. This is part of the stabilisation and performance project, as these multi messages consume a lot of capacity!
