We are, in the coming week, looking to appoint more assistant navigators.

We need chatters that have excellent communication skills, know a lot about chat have lots of patience & are eager to learn more.

To be eligible you must be at least 16 years old, ranked at least midshipman, have been registered with Lycos for a minimum of 6 months on the profile you are applying on & have completed all the chat quests. There are a few factors where exceptions could be made, these will be looked at by the chiefs and are not open for discussion.

You will note the site requires you to give certain information such as rank, gender, date of birth & favourite room. It is essential you fill this out correctly & with the true information. Should you not do so, you will find your application to take the exam rejected.

It is also important you register with a valid email address & correct chat name as this is where details of acceptance & opening of the actual exam are sent. If you make a mistake with this, you will not get the information you need.

This time round, the registration option will be open until 21:00 Thursday 5th December 2013.

We will then shipmail those accepted with further details.
