UPDATE: The advert providers have been informed about this and fingers crossed, this issue should not occur again. At this time, it is still believed that no harm has come to any browser or computer because of this, it was just a precautionary warning. The team are aware about issues that have occured today, predominantely for Google Chrome users. This appears to have happened in the form of repeated crashing of the browser/connection failures OR a message popping up informing some users there is potentially unsafe advert on the chat.
At this time it is believed the Chrome browser sent this message out as a precautionary measure to protect users who have medium-high security settings enabled. Failing that, some users have simply crashed or been logged out. On the plus side however, no reports have been made of any computers or browsers having actually been negatively affected by this other than problems with the chat itself.
If you have any other similar or issues you think may be connected with this but are NOT the same as those listed above, please report this to a navigator.
Please rest assured that everything will be done to try and resolve these issues and an update will be provided as soon as soon as it's available. We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused.
