Dear Passengers and crew

Over the last while there have been many complaints about various problems regarding the logbook/profile editor.  This included malfunctioned profiles and the inability to resize images.  This new editor fixes both of these problems.

In addition, we've been listening to you when you've said that the logbook/profile editor is too complicated, so we're delighted to introduce you all to our brand new version.  We think it's far more simplistic and much easier to use.

The menu's are all self explanatory and you should be able to find your way around them quite easily. 

Here are a few hints and tips on what each icon does :)

Firstly, a word of warning!!!!

This is a very dangerous button!  If you click this, it will clear everything on your profile/logbook message.  You are able to click "edit" and then "undo" to reverse it, but once you save... it's all gone!

This icon will allow you to insert a chat template of your choosing.

If you have this function (either earned by rank or premium), the macro icon will put our special macro into your text which will welcome a visitor by name. 

This icon will allow you to insert any image into your profile/logbook message from your photo album.  Please remember that all images must first be uploaded here before you can use them in the editor.  If you are part way through editing and upload an image, the image may not show.  You will need to f5 the page in order for it to recognise any new available images.

Background Images

Right now there is no specific button to press in order to use an image as a background image, but that said, it can be done! Simply hold the "shift button" down while selecting your image and it will add it to the back of the profile/message.

This is the colour picker. (Excuse the american spelling, that will be changed!) When you click this, you get another box pop up:

Once you have selected the colour you want, click either "background", "text colour" or "highlight" and then click the "x" at the top to activate it.

Finally, we have the smiley's.

When you click this, all your available smiley's will show and you can select whatever one you want.
