Christmas Decorations
The chat has been decorated! Christmas is coming, Captain is getting fat, please head to the Christmas room and check it out! You can find the new Christmas room on the Promenade Deck.... and shortly, you'll find a special Christmas Fairy in there. Look out for her in the next few days, she might be able to give you something special *S*

Room Changes
A few months ago we conducted an assessment on the rooms and decided that lots of empty rooms were ghost-like and off putting to new chatters. It was also clear to us that fuller but less rooms would provide a much better chat experience for everyone. The less rooms there are, the more rooms that will end up with chatters in because of the maximum capacity limits - we hope that this will eventually mean all the current rooms always have chatters in them. When this happens, we will gradually open one room at a time. Who knows, we may run competitions or votes to decide how this happens. *S*
We understand there are a few people that are not happy that some of the rooms have dissappeared. We conducted an assessment on this based on activity levels and with exception to the rooms that have robots in, we removed all the rooms that had very low useage. If this was a room you used, we are sorry, but activity levels in other rooms were much higher.
Issues with Internet Explorer
As per the last notice, you'll see that since our update chatters that use Internet Explorer are unable to get the chat page to open. We are working to fix it, but it won't be right away. In the mean time, there are two things to try to try and get the chat to load:
1. Once the chat client has loaded, press the F12 button BEFORE the 'Performing Handshake' words appear at the top of the screen. Wait a minute, and you should be in the chat. If not, log out and back in and then you should be able to get into a room.
2. When your chat client has stopped loading, you can hit the F5 button and then immediatately hit the F12 button which will load the chat up for you.
If you can't get that to work, please download and use Google Chrome, the ideal browser for the chat.
