We've been working very hard to bring you some new features and improve some of the things we already have. Here’s what we’ve got for you…
Restructure of the Ranks
We are delighted to inform you that we have completely revamped the rank system here on the ship. Essentially what we've done is provided you all with more information and functions throughout your promotions, and giving you what you really need earlier, and the things that you don't need but are nice to have, a little later.
Most of the ranks all the way up to Admiral have been rejigged. For most of you, you'll see more features that you hadn't been awarded yet. For some of you, you may find that emotes and features you were awarded, might not exist for you yet.... but they will when you get promoted to the new rank issuing that feature. This will certainly apply to smiley faces, which have been reorganised and are now issued at a rank by rank basis.
18 BRAND NEW Ranks
Horrayyyyy! We have 18 brand new ranks to launch to you *S* These have some VERY exciting features, special effects, free premium functions and much more. They are however hard to achieve ;-) Spend a lot of time on the chat, keep chatting.... and you'll be up to Neptunian in no time. Take a look at the Rank Barometer to see all the available ranks. We really hope you enjoy them.... it's time to reward those that spend a lot of time with us, as well as those who purchase premium packages.
Returning Features
The one thing you may notice is a return of Standard Private Cabins (for free) at the rank of Master Petty Officer 5th Class. Therefore if you're already over this rank, type /cabin or press 'Private Cabin' to the left of the chat window to create your very own room. Shortly after this rank, you'll be able to kick others from your private cabin and a few ranks after that, grant others access to invite and kick others from your cabin :) You may also notice the return of the /matrix special effect command at Botswain Level 1.
New Designs
You will notice (or may have to log off and back on to notice) that we now have new designs for most of our dating rooms. Try popping to 18 plus, 30-something, 40 plus or 50 plus to see the lovely new theme. You’ll also be able to find the new room for the forum, ‘Noesify’, on the promenade deck. Check it out :)
Return of Guests
After many years of not allowing guests on the chat, we’ve decided to change our mind and people can now login as a guest, which means, without registering a profile. If you have any friends or family members that want to try out the chat without registering first, tell them to pop to the home page and press the ‘Chat as Guest’ button.
