17/10/2016 14:01 Written by HarbourMaster

Dear Passengers and Crew,

We take reports of abuse seriously and recognise that sometimes situations require more than the use of the 'ignore' function.

Today we have added a new 'Report Abuse' function to the chat. If a chatter is being abusive, discriminatory, harassing you or talking about something illegal or inappropriate, you can send a report to the navigators.

To do this just click on a chatters name and select 'Report Abuse'.

From here, you can send the information and it will be dealt with by a suitably experienced on duty navigator. We recommend that you take a screenshot of the chatters behaviour, or take a photograph with your mobile phone. Click HERE to see how to take a screenshot.

We would always recommend the use of the ignore function where another chatter has abused you, and this is an additional layer of protection to ensure those determined to ruin the chat experience are effectively dealt with.

If you wish to speak with a navigator for help or to ask a question, please click F2 within the chat window to see a list of those on duty. If your question is more complex, please consider submitting a support question.

Kind Regards,

ChatTeam
